Consideration of a
motion granting waiver of the raffle license bond requirement for the Darien
Lions Club.
Background/History
The Darien Lions Club
has applied for a raffle license for a raffle to be held on June 2, 2011. They
have also requested waiver of the bond requirement. The City regularly waives the bond
requirement for qualified charitable organizations and has waived this
requirement for the Darien Lions Club in the past.
Staff/Committee Recommendation
It is recommended
that the raffle license bond requirement for the Darien Lions Club raffle be
waived.
Alternate Consideration
Not approve waiver.
