The City of Darien is soliciting for competitive quotes for the purchase & delivery of fire hydrants and repair parts as per the attached list. The attached proposed material summary sheet lists the materials and a range of quantities based on a vendor submitted unit price.
The City of Darien reserves the right to reduce, eliminate, or increase the specified material and/or quantity. The pricing shall be held in place from May 1, 2027 through April 30, 2028. In addition, the City will also be entertaining two optional extensions: May 1, 2028 through April 30, 2029 and May 1, 2029 through April 30, 2030. Quotes will be accepted until November 12, 2026 until the hour of 11:30 a.m. Quotes may be emailed to rkokkinis@darienil.gov followed by an original copy delivered to the City of Darien at 1702 Plainfield Road and clearly marked as Fire Hydrant Parts, ATTN: Municipal Services.

Any and all requests or addendums shall be made in writing to the attention of the Superintendent of Municipal Services, at kthrom@darienil.gov. All requests will be responded to within 48 hours to all bidders on file. City of
