NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

 

Notice is hereby given that the Planning, Zoning and Economic Development Commission of the City of Darien will hold a public hearing on July 1, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in City Hall Council Chambers, 1702 Plainfield Road, Darien, IL 60561.

The purpose of the public hearing will be to hear testimony from interested persons and make a recommendation on CASE NO. PZC-26-10.

(CASE NO. PZC-26-10) Involves a petition from DM Darien RF, LLC for a variation from Section 4-3-10-(B)-3 of the City’s Sign Code to permit an electronic messaging sign instead of a manual changeable copy sign for a remodeled Culver’s ground sign located at 541 Plainfield Road, Darien IL 60561 (PIN 09-27-207-032)

Said Property is legally described as follows:

LOT 1, IN CULVER’S OF DARIEN, BEING A SUBDIVISION OF PART OF THE WEST HALF OF THE NORTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 27, TOWNSHIP 38 NORTH, EANGE 11, EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF RECORDED APRIL 15, 1998 AS DOCUMENT NO. R98-69433, IN DUPAGE COUNTY, ILLINOIS.
