Due to Monday's severe storms, the Public Works Department will be conducting a special branch collection next week, starting Monday, August 3. All branches must be set out by Sunday night.
The crew will make only one pass and may complete your street as soon as Monday morning. The chipper can accept branches up to 6" in diameter. Please do not tie the branches or put them garbage cans. All other yard waste such as grass clippings and flowers should be disposed of through our yard waste program with LRS. City crews will only pick up branches.
WE ARE UNABLE TO ACCEPT LOGS, STUMPS, ROOTS, GRASS CLIPPINGS, FLOWERS, WEEDS, PLANTS, LEAVES, LUMBER & ANYTHING IN BAGS OR OTHER CONTAINERS.
Residents who are unable to put their branches out prior to the scheduled date can take them to the Municipal Services Facility, located at 1041 S. Frontage Road, and place them in the designated branch location. Branches accepted Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Landscape companies hired to help with your branches may also take them to Municipal Services. Branches only accepted May 1 through October 31. Questions regarding branch pick up, contact Municipal Services at 630-353-8105.
