Summer is one of the best times to enjoy all that Darien has to offer, and our City is committed to providing healthy, family-friendly entertainment that brings residents together and strengthens our sense of community.
Over the past five years, our Summer Concert Series has become a favorite tradition for many residents. This year’s concerts will once again take place on the last Thursday of June, July, and August in the North parking lot of Carriage Greens Country Club. We are excited to welcome “Fuze” in June, “Dick Diamond and the Dusters” in July, and “Heart to Heartbreaker” in August. As in past years, food and beverages will be available for purchase, making these evenings a great opportunity to relax, enjoy live music, and spend time with friends, neighbors, and family.
The Summer fun continues with our annual Darien Fest. Taking place August 7 -10 along Clarendon Hills Road directly in front of Hinsdale South High School. This year’s celebration will be especially meaningful as we will be embracing the spirit of America’s 250th Anniversary. Throughout the fest, we will feature special activities and events that honor this historic milestone and celebrate our nation’s heritage.
Darien Fest will once again offer something for everyone, including a three-day carnival presented by Windy City Amusement, live entertainment featuring multiple musical groups each day, a variety of delicious food offerings, a business expo featuring Darien businesses and community organizations, as well as games and activities for all ages.
Our goal is simple: to create opportunities for residents to come together, build connections, and enjoy the many things that make Darien such a wonderful place to live. I encourage you to make the Summer of 2026 a season of community, celebration, and family fun. Come out and enjoy our beautiful City while spending time with your friends and neighbors.
